"BRESLER" RC

The "BRESLER" Research Centre was established in 2004, on the strongest ever scientific and technical base of the "VNIIR" OJSC in the field of relay protection and automatics. The "BRESLER" RC is engaged in development and supply of the equipment of relay protection and automatics, and also introduction of the Systems of Relay protection Automatics (RPA) and automatic control systems (ACS) for substations of all classes of voltage.

The enterprise develops and issues Microprocessor RPA terminals of the series of TEMP 2501, including the following:

• universal terminal for connections 0.4-35 kV, TEMP 2501–1Õ;
• terminal for section transformer, for the voltage of 6-10 kV – TEMP 2501-2Õ;
• terminal for branching line of 0.4-35 kV – TEMP 2501-31;
• terminal for synchronous and asynchronous medium power electric motors for voltage of 6-10 kV – TEMP 2501–4Õ.

Microprocessor protection of the "BRESLER" series is intended for realisation of the functions of relay protection and automatics of energy-generating facilities. The terminal of relay part of semi-complete set DFZ is realised in a cassette having overall dimensions of European standard. Two ports of the device allow keeping contact simultaneously with hierarchical structure PC and connecting of computer directly to the device. Cabinets (panels) of relay protection and automatics are the following:

• Cabinet of differentially-phase protection "BRESLER-0411.03" for lines of 500 kV with OAPV;
• Cabinet of directed high-frequency protection of line "Bresler-0711.01" for lines of 110-330 kV with TAPV;
• Cabinet of line protection and switch control automatics "Bresler-0611.01" for lines of 110-220 kV with TAPV.

Automated control system UniSCADA is intended for solving of the tasks of complex automation of energy-generating facilities. The system can be applied for construction of ACS systems of substations, electric part of power plants, multilevel systems of ARCS, systems of enterprises’ power supply. In a complex with technological segment on the basis of the system, construction of a unified ACS of a power plant is possible.

Goals of the enterprise for the years of 2005-2007.are to develop the whole complex of protection for substations of the voltages of 6-35 kV, 110-220 kV and 330-750 kV and to provide high level of developments by means of application of new scientific and technical solutions in the field of algorithms and programs, as well as in the hardware.

According to the forecasts of experts, yet in 2006 the "BRESLER" RC will occupy 10% of the Russian market of relay protection and automatics
