RUSEL VNIIR MARINE

With the goal of strengthening VNIIR’s position in shipbuilding industry, RUSEL acquired a St. Petersburg-based company that specialized in marine industrial equipment and system integration for vessel energy management systems.


VNIIR Marine develops, produces and supplies power distribution products and systems for all kind of vessels.


The main areas of activities of RUSEL VNIIR Marine include:

  • Development of technical and design documentation and engineering of power distribution and process control systems for all types of vessels.
  • Supply, installation and customer-acceptance tests of shipping equipment.
  • Warranty and post-warranty servicing of equipment.

The branch’s research and development capacities in the field of modern electrical equipment have resulted in receipt of several large orders for the export of Russian military vessels.




 By establishing the St. Petersburg office, RUSEL gained new opportunities for cooperation with shipbuilding companies, ship owners and design institutes in this field.
