RUSEL VNIIR

The All-Russian research, engineering and technological institute of relay engineering with pilot production (VNIIR) is a major developer of intellectual property and supplier of scientific and technical products and electromechanical items to different industrial sectors. VNIIR developed over 90% of the installed base of relay protection anti emergency automation systems.

The institute is 40 years old and is one of the leading domestic engineering and technological centers.

Most developments in the field of relay protection and malfunction-proof automatics belong to VNIIR specialists. They authored more than 1400 inventions.

VNIIR has the branch’s most diverse patent file that contains more than 230 000 descriptions including those of patents and inventions of leading industrial countries such as the USA, England, France, Germany and others.

The patent file allows its specialists to study patents and carry out R&D according to the world’s highest standards. The institute also has its own lab facilities for testing equipment during development and production stages.
The institute is the holder of TUF ZERT certificate of the quality correspondence to ISO 9001 standards. Products developed by the VNIIR specialists are widely used in Russia, Korea, China, Indonesia, Greece, Slovakia and CIS countries.
